We had a pet-sitter again. The keeper left us yesterday for the Palisades where she was involved in a symposium on intercultural competencies. This is something she has been advocating for the past 10 years, and finally they had the two bishops, pastors, principals all coming together to learn from two very fine presenters. But upon arrival at the Palisades, the clouds ripped open and poured sheets of rain. The keeper sat in her car for 15 minutes before trying to brave the elements. She got soaked anyway.
