On Wednesday morning we headed to the papal audience with 100,000 others.
Peg decided to use a wheel chair because of the long lines and waits.
It became an instrument of surprise beyond surprise.
We We were ushered through the long queue,
through security, and sent to the front row entrance
of the Hall.
In shock we took our seats and waited. We visited with others and surveyed the thousands gathering, we listened to our Jubilate Young Womens’ Choir sing so beautifully over all the
In a million years we never would have imagined this happening. On Wednesday we got up early to prepare for the papal audience.

Never in a million years would we have guessed that it would open up lines,
Usher us through security, and lead us to the last door of the hall which
led us to the front row.
We took our places, surveyed the pilgrims, listened to our Jubilate Young Womens’
Choir sing, and visit with old friends.
