Our keeper spent most of the daytime away.
This afternoon she headed to the Tennis Club
for a funeral reception
for her favorite dentist ever.
Mark Taylor died very suddenly several months ago.
He didn't want any services, but his patients and family wanted to honor him.
The weather cooperated.
The sky was water-colorish!
Patients shared stories of the ways he touched their lives.
His family was moved.
His family assembled photos of his childhood,
sports, travel, marriage, and pets, work with Doctors without Borders.
The practice has been sold, but the cottage housing it will remain
with park benches with his name and those of his beloved dogs.
He also loved his cats.
RIP, Mark! Your work on this earth is done. We miss you!
