She left me again this morning for, guess what? Yes, more church. And in the afternoon she had a quick trip to the Louvre via Seattle Art Museum.
Samuel Morse's painting of a short tour of some of the well known paintings and one sculpture from the Louvre was on display. Morse thought he would help educate American art lovers and potential artists about the great artistic treasures through one painting. It didn't quite catch on. But it was a labor of love. After, he gave up painting and went back to inventing things.
