They were looking for a Swahili speaker to better communicate with Patricia. Hard to believe, but a former parishioner of the keeper's had showed up a little earlier just to go to the Cathedral Bookstore , just at the same time they had started looking for a Swahili speaker. So Teresita was able to serve as an interpreter. Synchronicity indeed!
Then, the keeper asked Dan if Swahili was one of his many languages, and sure enough, it was! So Patricia was able to enjoy the picnic and communicate with other parishioners. She lives close to Mbassi and Jen and comes to Noon Mass.
