We entertained tonight.Our esteemed guest is a regular, but brought watermelon and potato sald, things which are very fitting for a Fourth of July, but which we never have at the cottage.
We all hung out on the deck, they listened to Piaf and each other, and I listened to the birds and the refreshing breeze which had picked up. Yes, we had salmon while the rockets blasted around us.
