The keeper had planned on cleaning things while the workers wreaked havoc. When they didn't show up she didn't nap or watch birds. Oh no, she had too much energy for that. She decided to clean under the stove. On one cleaning spree she found 7 catnip mice under there. That's where we were hiding them those days. Today, no mice. But, she found what she thought had been lost forever--a treasured earring from a lovely trip. She thought she lost it on First Hill, but it must have dropped off when she was unloading the groceries she had purchased on First Hill.
