They are organized here and publish the days for strikes on a calendar, so everyone knows to plan ahead for disruptions. Yes, strikes are common here. But this strike and march was supported by thousands of teachers, transportation workers, hospital workers, city workers all demanding salaries that keep up with the horrible inflation here. All the Metros and buses stopped running on Tuesday.
