true nature is never...

Much unrest and fear and chaos in the world of people these days.
But a Jesuit poet once said, “True nature is never spent.”
The keeper told us that when she was a child when people spoke about WWII, she could only imagine that each day for years was cloudy heavy gray.
This morning on a day of so much unrest in the world,
The sun came out, the dew laced the pansies and tulip leaves,
The daffodils shone, and the hummingbird sipped nectar.
The outdoors is a great comfort these days for us all.
