At a Potluck with Syrian Refugees

The table groaned with culinary delights.

We prayed in Arabic and English to the Creator of us all.

The family I ate with is Kurdish.  They lost a child and elders in a truck bombing incident.
Two of their 4 living children suffer neurological damage from the war.
They fled four years ago and have now been in the NW for 7 mos.
Their daughter's dress  has Kurdish colors.
Thanks be to God for Google Translator!

This was an opportunity for folks to not just meet us, but more importantly,
meet each other and make contacts about possible jobs and opportunities.
They came from Tukwila and Everett and Port Orchard and Kirkland.
