This afternoon the keeper noticed a memorial set up at the school across the road a bit.
Being her inquisitive self , she walked down to check it out. A very talented young man died--a musician, athlete, lover of the sea, and it looks like he work on the Alaska ferry. Lots of his personal mementos, including one of his guitars and his safety vest, hard hat, and a jar for prayers and notes for his family.
