The Weather

As the keeper left th house early this morning, the sunshine blindingly crept  over the lake. Meanwhile, a few blocks west, the heavy storm clouds were gearing up to dump rivers onto the roads, and onto students walking to school. The wind was ready to rip umbrellas apart. The convergence of it all led to more traffic snarls than usual.

By mid afternoon, there were Heavy Wind Advisories. That's when the skies cleared and the branches, now stripped bare, waved. The wind also must have chased all the traffic out to sea as well because she arrived home much faster than usual.
