So, you all may be interested in how the royal household here is faring now that the conclave is beginning. Just to keep us on our toes, we not only have the Conclave app ( recommended by a certain pastor and staff), but now have installed the Pope Alarm which will wake us either by email or text if white smoke emerges while we are sleeping or otherwise occupied. The keeper came home late last eve because instead of partying madly until it is over, she took a more pious route and decided to pray for the conclave at her own parish. We are hoping for a shepherd with a pastoral heart and a keen ability to hire great folks to clean house. We noticed that she wore her red shoes all day in anticipation, except when she went to the gym and donned the hot pink ones....it is the 4th week of Lent, you know.
