Camino in the Sun

Some pretty exotic colors as plants let go this fall!

‘Tis the Season

Snow on the great mountain.

The neighbors are decorating.

The Cascades are showing some snow too.

Last LFP Farmers’ Market

Today was the day they all said good bye until May 2018.

Landscape Project Has Begun!

Lots of bare, lots of dirt. We are starting over!
Dee did say the soil was good, though!
We have extra roses to give away.
The squirrels are having a field day!
Maybe they will stop digging out the plants in our flower pots now.

View from Seventh Avenue

Not a bad view for a day which started with hail and closed with blue sky.

Celebrating A Retirement

Sr. Sharon will retire, kind of.
She is retiring from her ministry as Director of the WSCC.
Today she was celebrated by a whole roomful of friends and admirers who
praised her wisdom and her brilliance and her quick wit!
She won't be retiring to her convent, though.
She has a few other irons in the fire.

What is this white stuff????

This morning it thundered and the lightening flashed over our cottage.
It sounded like nails were falling fast out of the sky onto our roof.
I looked out to see this blanket of white that covered the deck and the driveway.
