A perfect night for reading under the starry vault.

How many yello jackets can you fid in the first photo?

This was the super chance to help Sherlock solve another impossible crime.

This time the bees got into the salmon, so we made a special plate for them.

We also had to kill one of their brothers.

It was a beautiful morning,

and the Bee Balm plant and the thimbleberry leaves were all shimmery.

She left us for Magnolia and a little dinner with wonderful people.

She finally was able to see the red flashing Ray's Boathouse sign

and the tip of Golden Gardens Park.

Meanwhile, we watched the golden moon rise over the trees and roofs.

She did too, although her photos were not too good.

Patty prepared the famous Nordstron grilled shrimp salad.

Perfect for a summer eve.

And even better was being with friends in her very peaceful backyard.

On Friday, we watched her read.

She finished two books. That seemed to be a big deal.

It was hot enough to make the hibiscus start flowering again.

And even Oliver tried the cooling blanket and liked it!
