Our keeper is in the process of designing and creating 

some steppingstones for our back yard gardens.

She wanted to tackle something simple—like the Day of Creation.

So, here are her first versions of the first three days.

We doubt they will be the only versions, though.

She has broken enough plates and ceramics to make stones for the next ten years.

Our New Side Gardens

Thanks to a generous retirement gift to Sky Nursery, the keeper was able to turn our side beds into shade gardens. we have been trying to tell her that petunias and geraniums dońt do well in those places but she would keep trying and ended up with the same slug ridden, failure to thrive results. 

This summer, she is home and can water and fuss over the hostas and has something to be proud of for a change.  even Kittyrood ( above) looks much nicer!
