Neighbors Paying a Visit

The little rascals Kona and Mona
are taking over our back yard.
They think everything is interesting and worthy of exploration.

Yard Work Tonight

Tonight we could not go out with her.
She was painting in her favorite painting clothes
that still smell like NOLA .
Our white urn  in the front is now hammered bronze,
and once it dries we think it will be beautiful.
We noticed that a big package came yesterday
that had some more bronze in it for a loveseat.
It said, " Some assembly required."
We hope it isn't too much assembly.

Now we are growing vegetables on the deck.
The boxes arrived on Sunday. NO assembly required.
Tonight we watched her put in new dirt and some plants she had been given,
as well as other herbs she had been growing.  We don't think there is any catnip though.

Resting in Peace a Year Later

Today is the anniversary of Ward's death.
It is hard to believe a year has passed.

A quick visit to Calvary tonight after work with coral peonies.
It was very very still out there.

Corpus Christi at the Cathedral

It was all there: rain withheld, pipers and drummers, all choirs,
friends of every age group,
procession and benediction with brocade and bells pealing.l
