What did we do this afternoon?

It was all green and not so hazy today.
The wisteria is putting out new seed pods.

We got to go out all afternoon.
We chased squirrels.  They love all our attention.
We are a wee bit tired tonight.
Lucy isn't used to that much exercise.

What She Saw While We Were Stuck Inside

This week went by surprisingly quickly, given the fact that we spent it mostly indoors.
Here are some of the sights from her adventures outdoors, though.

Flowers found on a haze filled evening walk

Mbassi sent a picture from last Sunday.

And then there was plant based ice cream.
She had the salted caramel with ash that
tasted like licorice. Excellent,we hear.

Luna Naranjada

Tonight the moon glowed orange in a Halloweenish way.
Clearly foreboding end time images!

Living like Racehorses

It was so hot tonight we let her put the cooling blankets soaked in cold water on us.
We wore them until they dried and slid off our backs.
We look pretty cool in them, eh?

Morning Came and Afternoon Followed

Today ir sprinkled ash from the the eastern WA fires
and we woke up to a jaundiced sky.

Afternoon took on a sherbet-y hue.

We Had a Great Labor Day

We spent a fair amount of time outside this weekend with the keeper.
Tonight I helped her put the blog together--I'm getting handier with the mouse.

Lucy sat on her lap and helped her read Immortal Irishman.
