Paulist Center, Boston

The keeper poked her head into the Paulist Center across from the Boston Commons.
They were preparing for Mass and the priest was already sitting in his presider chair and welcomed her in warmly. Since one else was had arrived they had a good discussion of their respective archdioceses. He explained that the crucifix came from a Berkeley sculptor. Wood hath Hope.
She knew it was time to leave when the sacristan came running out to ask if she was the new lector!

Gala! and Metal Detectors!

Tonight there was a Gala at Moakley Courthouse. They were supposed to
have  it outside on the water, but moved inside. This forced them all to be subjected to
an hour long TSA style security check through a metal detector. That cut down on the party time.
Yes, that was the Cardinal. He was there too. Not sure if he had to wait an hour though. Bishops did.

Walkers!

It was too nice of a day to spend inside the Marriott, so the keeper joined a
few other neighborhood walkers after lunch.

The papers are signed.  It should close this week.
Before leaving OS, the keeper brought PB to the house and to say farewell
and thank you  for many wonderful and beautiful years.

Time for a new family to enjoy it all!

Morning Visitors

The keeper has visitors under her balcony.
She thinks the hotel has pet deer who wait for handouts.

A wild and stormy day

It was a stormy stormy day with wind and sheets of rain.
The keeper retired to her condo with its fireplace and listened to the wind howl.
