Light and Mercy

Mimi the star pupil and her prize teachers!

Two others whose halos slipped a bit.

Light from the Ground Level

Nice.

Light from the 28th Floor

And God and a few others said, "Let there be light!"
And suddenly, the dark building took its rightful place as a city landmark again. And the Year of Mercy commences.  May the new light be more than show but a sign of mercy for the city.

Lunch in Black and White

Today the keeper crossed the wavy windy 520 bridge to attend a lunch meeting.
The host was someone she and the others had wanted to take out to lunch, but he wanted to cook for them. His home is work of art. The lunch was delicious and beautiful.

Luz!

Today she did not go into town.  She stayed home and caught up on laundry and other necessary tasks. She also finished putting the lights up. We decided it is best to put hem up in stages.

MOA

Big celebration on Saturday.
Hordes of people, lots of old friends, good ministers, a good homily, and lots of roses.  Also amazing dancers which her phone was not able to capture very well.

Last Friday from 910 Marion

We are delinquent in our blogging tasks of late.
You might think we have nothing to report. Not exactly.
No, there have been hearings, meetings, a rehearsal, sickness,
more meetings, a big Guadalupe celebration,
a preaching run, concert, and rain.

She caught a glimpse of the new lights on Friday night as she was leaving 910.
