La Comida


There was room for all and enough food! Children, a few dogs wandering in,  teenagers, young adults, forty somethings, people who have Medicare cards, with  Martha and Enrique still presiding  over these dinners.

The building which houses the family dining hall was the first thing which was built after Enrique and Martha purchased the large parcel of land. The walls are covered with Talavera pottery and other beautiful poblano art.

Probably fifty people came for comida and the kitchen of the special family gathering spot was full of food and drink and people.

Mass at the Colonia Rios Yanez



This afternoon they all headed over to the Rios Yanez compound for a Mass and comida.
The keeper helped the Reverend Presidente with some parts.

Curious George Made a New Friend


The keeper is staying in a room whose usual occupant just returned from China where he studied Mandarin. He is 17 years old and this is is 5th language.
He brought a bear who kindly passed on the hospitality to George and the keeper.

Saturday Comida, Act One


They celebrated a grand afternoon comida with The Vargas clan and Martha Rios brought along the President  of the Ibero Jesuit University in Puebla. Two presidents at a comida!
