Dia de los Muertos

Tonight we set up our Day of the Dead Altar. We have lost so many people over the years, we need to use a bigger space next year. In fact, we won’t be lighting candles this year.  There is just too much paper.

May they Rest In Peace! 

And yes, the departed felines are part of the altar!

A Closer Look at Our Neighbor’s Haunted Castle

We have a new neighbor who is a contractor who obviously loves to build things. He spent the entire month building a haunted castle which took up their whole front yard.  He built a frame and used cardboard refrigerator boxes for the walls, which he painted.  Then he built a series of caves behind it. 

We hear the3re was quite a line up last night there.
