Hints of spring as we take away Christmas
Our keeper took down all the Christmas lights this morning.
She was astounded by how many there were. She admitted she got a little carried away in December.
We figured it was a way to cheer up all the passers by and neighbors.
She also went out and bought a few pansies and primroses for our back yard.
A different kind of light and cheer for us at the cottage.
The daphne and forsythia and irises and hellebore are coming into their own too!
Hurrah!

Visiting Fish at Northwest Hospital
The keeper has always liked the fish at NWH.
She got to know some of them quite well two years ago.
But Tuesday she visited some new ones,
and was quite taken with the fluorescent overbite!
One of us went to the vet
Oliver had to have his heart checked out. All good.
Lucy tried to hide from the keeper when the crate came out.
What Have We been Up To These Last Several Weeks?
The keeper has been too busy to blog, despite our urging.
January 20th was a gleeful day here.
We watched tv a lot and we had our two friends over for Kamala’s favorite Jamaican dinner And Joe’s favorite ice cream.
