Sights from the Office Today

The Office of Awesomeness

The Office of Fund Dev rocked it!

Fund Dev at wor

Happy Halloween!

She left us this morning for the office
That had been turned into a bat cave.
She left wearing a bat poncho and ears.
Their decorations won first place in the contest.
She was not the designer nor did any work on it.
Other very talented people did that.

Sunday Camino before Planting Bulbs

The keeper let us play outside in the back yard.
She had planned on trekking through the Arboretum in the sun this afternoon,
but everyone else had the same idea and after wasting an hour looking for a                                    parking spot, she headed home. And let us out.
While we played, she walked 11,000 steps.
It was so beautiful she couldn’t stop, she said.
Then we helped her plant 100 tulip bulbs in the back yard—
Purple, white, pink, and fringe stripes. Lucy tried to dig them up.

Tonight at home and on camino

Mona was waiting for the keeper to come outside to say hi.

The sunny day brought out beautiful colors and the keeper.

Candidate Forum at St. Ed Tonight

Tonight we ate late.
A Seattle City Council Candidate forum.
Tammy Morales and Mark SOlomon.
Good group.
Good organization.

Autumn without rain

Without the rain, it is so peaceful, clear, and colorful.

Father Rector

The Keeper and Padre Arturo were ministry partners for many years.
Their ministry ended abruptly in 2007.
But he has returned to SU as the Rector, so 12 years later, they had a little lunch to revisit old times and new possibilities.

Camino in the Rain

This afternoon the keeper let us go out to play in the mist.
Then it started to pour. Oliver found refuge under a table and hid.
I came back inside, but the keeper boldly braved the elements looking for Oliver.
She found him and wrapped him in a towel.
Then she went out and had a blast beholding the fall colors.
