A Missing Day
Somehow today did not exist on this calendar.
A leap day, a wrinkle in time!
Mon dieu!
But the day seemed pretty real and full to us!
We Had Visitors Last Night
Lunch at WUV, but No Pie
The keeper went out to lunch at the WUV.
A pie making class was also in session.
They didn’t share.
She Walked, Seeking Astonishment
And she found it at twilight over the lake.
We found it in our dreams.
We Have Been Too Busy to Post
The keeper has been galavanting everywhere.
We have been lounging.
It’s summer and some days it’s just hard to post.
We promise we will be better posters.

Saturday Camino with Fruits of the Earth
Farewell, Dear Catherine
Catherine, brilliant scholar, and woman of valor,
So heading to University of Detroit to serve as the Mission Officer.
She will be sorely missed here.
An Excursion to SLU
The afternoon began with a trip to MOHAI
Some exhibits seemed chillingly contemporary.
Some brought back a simpler city,
Some were just silly.
And so were the fellow excursion partners.
Al Museo
An okay exhibit.
The best part was being able to skip rapidly down the hill and back
—from First Hill to First Ave, with out any shortness of breath!

Cloudy vacation
South Woods with Ospreys
The South Woods were lit up.
And the osprey is building a nest
in the cell tower and the the lights over the play field.
