May He Rest In Peace
Earlier this week a memorial had been set up
in the O’Dea Parking lot for a student who died very suddenly.
They decorated his parking spot with flowers and notes and photos.
All week long students were present and silent at the sacred site.

Fenceless
The guys who were going to build the new fence next week
decided to show up to tear things down this morning.
We weren’t’ really ready for them, but they tore it down.
Saorise, the neighbor’s greyhound, was delighted to have unlimited access to our yard.
We were not as excited to have that much space.

Another Graduation!
No procession, no mortar board and hood.
Not even a special tee shirt!
But our keeper finished her final, 36th class
Of cardio rehab today.
What a crew of wonderful people who pushed her
Back on the camino with strength and new good habits!
Thank you, Steve, Brian, Heidi, Lisa, Nicholas!

Spring is Coming..oh SO Slowly!
After a several week break to rest the back,
The keeper tool a caminata—a longer one, up and down steep hills.
She needed to check on spring in the neighborhood.
It’s coming!
Much more slowly than last year,
But it is coming!
Farewell to the Juniper Bush
The Juniper Bush became a tree hovering over the house,
Blocking light at eating at the foundation.
Yesterday Jesus cut down.
More room to plant sunflowers now!
Sunniest side of the house!

Springy...?
Spring in the traffic circle.
Lake Union seems springy.
Lucy and I will believe it when we see it in our backyard.
