Great views from the Rue Cler

Sabbath at La Place des Vosges

The Place des Vosges just seemed to bring out the families today!

A Visit To Victor Hugo's House

At the recommendation of a friend, they visited Victor Hugo's house which was right  in the neighborhood. They saw recreations of his home in Paris as well as his home in Guernsey, and saw
Examples of his early work as writer, artist. They noted his relationships with his family, other artists, and with Julie Drouet, his mistress.

A Very Lazy Samedi

The three travelers took a very lazy morning, with sleep and croissants.
When they finally left the apartment they visited the Place des Vosges, where families were out and playing together. Most of the Marais shuts down on Saturday since it is pretty Jewish.

Plat du Jour
